Job Title: Business Development Manager

Location: UK Wide

Salary: Up to £70,000

Shift: Monday-Friday - 37.5 hours 

Job Role of the Business Development Manager

The Business Development Manager will manage and grow key accounts while generating new business across the UK and Ireland. Responsibilities include developing commercial growth strategies, negotiating pricing, managing sales forecasts and identifying opportunities to increase revenue, profitability and market share.

Non-Negotiable Requirements of the Business Development Manager

• Proven chemical-industry sales and key account management experience
• Successful new-business and customer-development experience
• Strong knowledge of polymer or related technical manufacturing markets

Requirements for the Business Development Manager

• Strong pricing, commercial negotiation and growth-strategy experience
• Confident pitching to senior customers and technical stakeholders
• Strong CRM, opportunity management and sales forecasting experience
• Able to monitor account profitability, receivables and market performance
• Willingness to travel extensively across the UK and Ireland

Desirable Requirements for the Business Development Manager

• Established network across construction, adhesives, polyurethane or agrochemical markets
• Experience working within international or multicultural commercial teams
