Salary: up to £65,000 DOE

About the Role: A leading manufacturing company is looking for a hands-on Engineering Manager to join their department in North Lanarkshire. You'll be responsible for leading and managing a team of engineers, ensuring smooth operations in a busy production environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement maintenance strategies to enhance equipment performance.
• Oversee the Engineering team
• Troubleshoot technical issues to minimise downtime.
• Ensure health and safety compliance.
• Manage contractors and maintenance budgets.
• Maintain accurate records and prepare regular reports.
• Drive improvements and efficiencies across the team.

What We're Looking For:

• Proven experience in an engineering leadership role within a manufacturing or process environment.
• Hands-on technical expertise, ideally multi-skilled.
• Strong people management skills with a focus on coaching and developing teams.
• Experience in maintenance scheduling and root cause analysis.
• Flexibility for occasional travel to support seasonal operations.
