Production Team Leader – Night Shift
Location: Leicester, LE3
Salary: £31,500 + Benefits
Shift: Monday to Friday, 10pm-6am
Employment Type: Full-time, Permanent

Are you a motivated leader with experience managing production teams in a fast-paced environment? We're looking for a Production Team Leader to take ownership of a key shift, leading a team of 30–35 operators to deliver high performance, efficiency, and quality.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Leading, motivating, and managing a team to meet daily output, efficiency, and quality targets

• Ensuring full compliance with health & safety standards while promoting a strong safety culture

• Coordinating shift activities and allocating resources to meet production schedules

• Monitoring performance against key metrics (OEE, waste, downtime, quality)

• Conducting briefings, shift handovers, and regular team meetings

• Keeping accurate records and reports for production and compliance purposes

• Coaching, developing, and supporting team members through regular feedback and training

• Collaborating with maintenance, quality, and logistics teams to resolve issues

• Driving continuous improvement to enhance productivity and reduce waste

What You’ll Need:

• Proven experience in a similar Team Leader or Supervisor role

• Strong people management and communication skills

• Positive, proactive attitude with a focus on quality and results

• Comfortable working in a fast-moving production environment

• Knowledge of health & safety and performance metrics
