Shift Process Operator

Job Title: Shift Process Operator (4 On, 4 Off Days & Nights)
Location: West Thurrock, Essex 
Salary: £42,282 per annum

Are you ready to take on a dynamic role at our West Thurrock chemical plant? We're looking for a Shift Process Operator to join our team and play a critical part in overseeing the production process.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor the production process and ensure efficient plant operations
• Data logging and archiving
• Stock management to support planned production
• Supervise goods in and out, including loading/unloading road tankers (Forklift truck operation required)
• Collaborate closely with the Lab Department to ensure product quality
• Report any issues to the appropriate departments immediately
• Maintain a safe working environment by wearing personal protective equipment at all times

Requirements:

• Prior chemical process experience is advantageous
• Strong attention to detail
• Good knowledge of MS Office applications
• Forklift truck experience is an advantage

Shift Pattern:
4 On, 4 Off shift pattern, including days, nights, weekends, and bank holidays.
