Are you an experienced Refrigeration Engineer looking for a stable, days-based role with an established manufacturing business? We're recruiting for a skilled engineer to join our team in Ipswich, Suffolk, supporting a busy production environment and ensuring our refrigeration and cooling systems operate at peak performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain, service, and repair refrigeration and cooling plant across the manufacturing site

   

• Diagnose faults and carry out preventative and reactive maintenance

   

• Support continuous improvement and reliability of equipment

   

• Work closely with production and engineering teams to minimise downtime

   

• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards

   

What We're Looking For

• Proven experience as a Refrigeration Engineer in industrial or commercial environments

   

• Relevant qualifications (FGAS / NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Refrigeration & Air Conditioning or equivalent)

   

• Strong fault-finding skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving

   

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

   

• Good understanding of maintenance procedures within a manufacturing setting
