Mechanical Machine Setter – Corby 

Salary: £28,500 – £32,000 (depending on experience)
Hours: 6am–6pm Days and Nights 
Contract Type: Full-time, Permanent
Holiday: 22 days + bank holidays

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Machine Setter to join a leading manufacturer of innovative and sustainable packaging solutions, based in Corby, Northamptonshire. This company specialises in the development and production of high-quality rigid plastic products, supplying a wide range of industries — including the NHS.

As a Machine Setter, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of production lines, maintaining high standards of quality, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives within the manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Set up and run allocated production lines efficiently, meeting company targets for output and quality.

• Maintain optimal machine utilisation and material efficiency.

• Ensure consistent production quality in line with company standards.

• Perform duties within agreed timescales and maintain accurate production records.

• Support equipment care, tooling maintenance, and general housekeeping.

• Work flexibly to cover vacant shifts where required.

• Communicate effectively with team members and other departments.

• Participate in ongoing training and development to enhance skills.
